Fire hazard – hot embers can emit flames.
Caution – do not use gasoline, alcohol, flammable liquids, or any fire accelerant or chemical product to light the grill. It is highly recommended to use charcoal in your Kamado Argentino as it stays lit for longer and produces less ash that could block the air intake.
– IMPORTANT –
If you are going to open the lid while the Kamado is operating at high temperatures, it is essential to do so with extreme caution and lift the lid slowly, allowing air to pass through slowly, as this can cause explosions or sparks that can burn or damage your skin.
Always follow the steps in the “Information on food cooking” section of this manual.
Make sure the grill is at least 2 meters away from any flammable product.
Do not use your Kamado Argentino directly on surfaces such as decks, dry grass, wood, or dry leaves; if you use stainless steel feet, there is no danger.
– ATTENTION –
This product reaches high temperatures, please do not move it while it is in operation.
Always use heat-resistant gloves when handling hot ceramics or cooking surfaces.
Allow the unit to cool completely before storing or moving it.
Always check your Kamado Argentino before using it for possible breaks or damages.
SEASONING YOUR KAMADO ARGENTINO
To start the fire, place newspaper with fire starter cubes in the charcoal container (7) at the base of your Kamado Argentino. Then place 2 or 3 pieces of charcoal on top of the newspaper.
Do not use gasoline, alcohol, or any other similar chemical product.
Open the charcoal container and light the newspaper.
Do not overload the unit with charcoal; if the fire is too intense, the unit could be damaged.
Wait for the charcoal in your Kamado Argentino to burn out completely.
After the first use, check the locks to ensure they are securely tightened. The metal band that connects the base with the lid may expand due to the fire and cause it to loosen. It is advisable to check and ensure it is securely tightened.
Now you can use your Kamado Argentino normally.
