Kamado is a Japanese term that refers to the word oven or stove (かまど). It originates in Japan approximately 1700 years ago, where it was used to cook both red and white meats as well as vegetables and cereals, taking advantage of its cooking efficiency, similar to cooking systems like the tajin, pit cooking in Hawaii and Saudi Arabia, or Indian tandoori. During World War II, it was observed by American troops, who brought this idea home to incorporate it into Western culture, respecting its essence and optimizing its design.
The slow food trend enters the world of embers with the Kamado. This gastronomic style, contrasting with the standardization of flavors, allows us to expand the horizon of our senses. Kamado Argentino achieves unique results as a grill, smoker, oven, or grill in direct fire cooking or at low temperature for 8 hours.

VERSATILE

The kamado allows cooking with direct or indirect fire, with or without smoke, at low temperatures for an extended period or traditionally. All these variants are combinable with each other; you can even combine opposite concepts during the same cooking process. Follow our suggested temperatures in the Edukamado section.
EFFICIENT AND ECOLOGICAL
Less Resources and More Flavor
A minimal amount of charcoal is sufficient. The design of the Kamado, based on Japanese efficiency concepts, allows regulating the entry and exit of air to use our wood or charcoal for a prolonged period. With 1.3 kg of Charcoal, we can grill for 12 people. The heat envelops the food inside the ceramic walls of the Kamado.
SAFETY
A complete gastronomic experience
By working in a closed manner, there are no possibilities of sparks or flames, it generates very little smoke except in smoker mode. No other cooking device is as insulating and resistant to weather conditions. The external temperature does not affect the temperature inside at all and creates an airflow that gives all dishes an exceptional flavor. The possibility of fire is nil; you only need to be cautious not to use more charcoal than necessary (see in each model) or open it abruptly while it is working. The only safety measure is to open it in two steps as indicated in our temperature control video.

LIMPIEZA
Easy and Practical
All ashes from the charcoal or smoking materials we use remain inside the Kamado. Once it cools down, the ashes are removed with the container and discarded. Watch our maintenance video!
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Perfect cooking

KAMADO COOKING
Roasting
You can roast within a range of temperatures ranging from +/- 65ºC to above +/- 350ºC, controlling the temperature with a margin of +/- 10°C with a load of 1.5 kg of charcoal. Within this range, we find what is called "SLOW COOKING," or slow cooking.
Smoking
Due to its design, the smoke is evenly distributed, so all 3 grill levels can be fully filled with the chosen products, fish, meats, or vegetables. Smoking can be done from 55ºC (cold) to around +/- 130ºC (hot). We have options for Smoke wood chips to customize your meals.
Baking
It behaves like an oven with more heat below than above. Adding the stone surface allows us to make stone-baked pizzas in 15 minutes. This is due to its construction and egg shape; air circulation is slower and enveloping, it's the dome effect. It's a wetter heat than that of a wood-fired oven. It dries out food less and gives it the subtle touch of fire. This is due to the ceramic and its design.
Spit Cooking
Enveloping cooking on a rotating axis, it's cooking perfection. Don't hesitate to try slow-cooked dishes with a loin, chicken, or pork shoulder rotating on its axis.
Grilling
The Kamado Argentino allows cooking over direct fire to seal the food and maintain its color on the inside (barbecue). It's cooking with direct heat between the food and the embers. Also, as an additional accessory, it allows us to cook thousands of menus with a WOK!
Wok
