FRUIT COMPOTE WITH AMERICANA ICE CREAM, PALIEN, AND MINT
INGREDIENTS
Serves 8 people
At least three (3) seasonal fruits. In this case, we use pears, peaches, and strawberries, 1/2 kg of each
3 tablespoons of sugar
Crushed almonds
One pack of mint
300 ml of red wine
STEP BY STEP
In a skillet, place the fruit cut into wedges. Add one tablespoon of sugar per 1/2 kg of fruit. Cook for 5 minutes and add the glass of wine when you see it sticking to the bottom. It’s ideal to have direct heat but not too much.
Remove from heat and strain the liquid.
Finely chop the almonds and slice the mint.
For plating, if you want to shape the ice cream into an oval, moisten the spoon in hot water.
