BAKED APPLES WITH BOURBON
INGREDIENTS
Half a dozen apples
Brown sugar
Cinnamon sticks, 1 per apple
Ground cinnamon, 50g
Butter
STEP BY STEP
The first step is to cut the top off the apples, remove the lid, and set aside.
Carefully remove the core of the apple so that it has no seeds or hardness.
Inside the apple, place ground cinnamon, sugar, and a small piece of butter.
Preheat the Kamado to a temperature of 160/180 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes, and halfway through the cooking time, hydrate with bourbon. It can be replaced with red wine if preferred.
Remove from the Kamado, let it cool slightly, and place a cinnamon stick.
Your dessert is ready!
